Los Angeles

I arrived 7am yesterday at LAX and arrived at the youth hostel shattered. My first thought is that LA is insane. On one street I counted at least 10 costume shops amongst only one shop where I could buy any kind of useful provisions. There are loads of weird places like: Ripleys Believe it or Not; The Wax Museum; and the Museum of death (unfortunately this one was closed). LA is huge, and will take a while to explore.

Preparations

It has taken a while to get ready to leave Hudson. I've lived in Quebec going on two years now; and many things will not fit in my backpack. I intend to travel with just a hiking bag and a smaller day bag, both of which are now full.

I am going to miss this town as well as its people ;) But I can't wait to leave now that everything is ready to go.
